Emmy 2017: vincitori The Handmaid’s Tale e Big Little Lies

A dominare gli Emmy 2017 per le categorie drama sono state due serie tv rivelazione dell’ultimo anno: The Handmaid’s Tale e Big Little Lies. Per quanto riguarda le comedy, invece, hanno trionfato Veep e Atlanta. Grandi assenti tra i premiati la visionaria Westworld e il fenomeno globale Game of Thrones, che è andata in onda troppo avanti nella stagione televisiva per essere inclusa nelle nomination.

The Handmaid’s Tale ha vinto gli Emmy 2017 come Miglior serie drammatica, Miglior attrice protagonista in un drama per Elisabeth Moss, e Miglior attrice non protagonista in un drama per Ann Dowd. Big Little Lies si è aggiudicata i premi come Miglior mini serie dell’anno, Miglior attrice protagonista in una mini serie a Nicole Kidman. E ancora Miglior attore e attrice non protagonista in una mini serie a Alexander Skarsgard e Laura Dern. Sterling Brown ha vinto come Miglior attore protagonista in un drama per This is us, mentre i miglior attori protagonisti in una comedy sono andati a Julia Louis-Dreyfus per Veep e Donald Glover per Atlanta. L’Emmy 2017 come Miglior serie tv comedy è stato vinto da Veep.
