Urban Strangers: ecco l’inedito Runaway – audio e testo

Durante la semifinale di X Factor 9, gli Urban Strangers hanno conquistato un meritatissimo posto per la finale del talent di Sky Uno e hanno presentato per la prima volta l’inedito Runaway.

Giovedì prossimo 10 dicembre verrà incoronato il vincitore della nona edizione di X Factor e il duo napoletano, unico gruppo rimasto a Fedez dopo l’uscita dei Moseek, a detta di molti è tra i favoriti. Quello che è certo è che gli Urban Strangers hanno fin dalle prime battute del programma conquistato il grande pubblico che li ha sempre votati, fino a portarli in finale senza mai affrontare un ballottaggio.

Il successo nella semifinale è arrivato sia grazie all’esibizione di Pompeii dei Bastille, brano assegnato liberamente da Fedez, sia per l’inedito Runaway che fin dalle prime note ha espresso la forza del gruppo. La canzone è stata scritta dagli stessi Gennaro Raia e Alessio Iodice insieme agli autori Mirra e Ferrante, nonchè fondatori della loro etichetta Casa Lavica. Il brano parla di avere il coraggio di scappare dai rapporti che non lasciano respiro e non hanno possibilità di recupero. “Le persone non cambiano, si rivelano” dice il ritornello, quasi come un mantra da tenere a mente.
