MTV EMA 2014: annunciate le nominations

MTV rivela oggi le nomination degli MTV EMA 2014, l’award show che celebra i più grandi artisti musicali riconosciuti a livello globale che vedrà alcuni dei più grandi nomi della musica esibirsi dal vivo.

Gli australiani 5 Seconds of Summer si sfideranno con gli eroi britannici One Direction nella categoria ‘Best Pop’, e i loro fan si affronteranno in un testa a testa per la categoria ‘Biggest Fans’. La rivalità tra le star del pop continua tra Katy Perry e Taylor Swift, per la categoria ‘Best Female’ e ‘Best Look’. Le regine dell’hip hop Nicki Minaj e Iggy Azalea si sfideranno invece nelle due categorie: ‘Best Hip Hop’ e ‘Best Look’.

Gli MTV EMA 2014 saranno trasmessi in diretta dall’Hydro di Glasgow, domenica 9 Novembre alle 21.00.

A dominare è senza dubbio Katy Perry con ben sette nomination, mentre Ariana Grande la segue da molto vicino con la nomination in sei categorie. Pharrell Williams e 5 Seconds of Summer sono entrambi in lizza per per cinque premi. One Direction, Nicki Minaj, Iggy Azalea, Eminem, Sam Smith e Kiesza hanno ricevuto ciascuno ben quattro nomination per gli MTV EMA 2014.
Tutti i nominati sono visibili e votabili sul sito mtvema.com, inclusi quelli in lizza per il Best Italian Act, il cui quinto artista scelto dal voto dei fan sui social è Alessandra Amoroso che è quindi ora in gara con Caparezza, Club Dogo, Emis Killa e Giorgia.

Anche i nominati nella categoria Biggest Fans sono annunciati oggi. I fan avranno la possibilità di votare i loro artisti preferiti via Twitter e Instagram usando l’hashtag #EMABiggestFans insieme al nome dell’artista. Di seguito gli hashtag ufficiali:
